Milestones

1992

YOKO Technology Corp. was established on Takuan Rd., Pan Chiao, Taipei County with a capital of NT$5 million.

We launched the first B/W Sony 1/2" CCD Camera.

1993

Relocated our factory to a 7,180 square feet building on Hsinyi Rd,. Pan Chiao.

1994

Launched B/W Sony 1/3" CCD Camera.

1995

Took the lead in launching Color Sony 1/2" CCD Camera and developed B/W Samsung 1/3" CCD Camera.

1996

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$21 million and purchased a plant of 14,360 square feet on Sze-Chuan Rd., Pan Chiao.

1997

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$90 million and obtained
ISO-9002 certification from TUV.

Further successfully developed Color and B/W High-resolution Camera, Hidden Camera and Mini Camera.

1998

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$130 million.

Launched Sony 1/4" CCD Camera and B/W CMOS Camera.

Launched complete DIY IR Detection Surveillance System.

Entered the category of audio & video processing equipment and successfully developed economical B/W 4CH Quad Processor.

1999

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$170 million. Public issuance of stocks was approved. Purchased additional plant of 14,360 square feet and built additional automated production lines.

Subsequently developed Color 4CH Quad Processor, Bullet Camera and Camera with Line Lock or IR functions.

Developed Color and B/W Sony 1/3" CCD Camera series.

2000

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$194 million.

Established three subsidiaries for additional business locations; leased additional space of 14,360 square feet on 9F of the same building to accommodate operation.

YOKO's Intelligent Color 4CH Quad Processor was awarded " The Outstanding Security Equipment Prize of second session of Taiwan ".

Ranked by the Commonwealth Magazine as " Taiwan's 100 in terms of growth ".

Subsequently developed Color and B/W Multiplexer.

2001

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$244.2 million and became a public listed company on OTC market.

Continuously developed high-end Low-illumination Color EX-View Sony 1/3" CCD Camera, Day/Night Camera, 2.4GHz Wireless Surveillance System and Color 5.6" TFT LCD Monitor.

Enters into Digital Video Recorder (DVR) in surveillance.

2002

Increased company's paid-in-capital to NT$323.2 million and obtained
ISO-9001:2000 certification from TUV.

Established YOKO (Suzhou) Limited in Mainland China for developing the potential China market.

Continuously developed Stand-alone DVR, Vari-focal Camera, 22X Power Zoom Camera and Mini 10M Out-door Waterproof IR Camera.

2003

Issuance NT$ 300 million of convertible bonds for constructing the new headquarters and factory to satisfy all we needs in the future.

Ranked by A&S Magazine as " World's Top 50 Security Companies ".

Continuously developed Remote Control DVR, Mobile DVR, HDD Box, Speed Dome Camera, Auto Focus Zoom Camera, Vandal-proof Camera and Mini Camera.

2004

Taiwan's Finance Ministry's Security & Futures Committee permits YOKO Corp. to go public in 2004.

Ranked by the Commonwealth Magazine as " Taiwan's top 50 high ROE manufacturers ", " Taiwan's top 1000 manufacturers ", " Taiwan's top 50 high ROA manufacturers " in 2003.

Developed economical MPEG4 Stand-alone DVR.

Continuously developed Ultra-Mini Camera, Portable DVR, 100x Microscope Camera.

2005

Continuously developed all new designed High-End MPEG4 and MJPEG Stand-alone DVR.

Continuously developed Medium 20M Out-door IR Camera and Vandal-proof IR Camera.

YOKO's SecuMate Portable DVR was a finalist in the category " Best new communication product " of 2005 IFSEC Security Industry innovation Awards.

Headquarter reallocated to No.199, Lide St., Jhonghe City, Taipei County-as the current factory site.

2006

YOKO has been assessed and full compliance with the requirements of SGS GPIP CRITERIA for the design, development, manufacturing and sales of video surveillance products regarding restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances (RoHS).

YOKO Tech has been awarded of the “Taiwan security and surveillance top 10 DVR and Camera brands” for the following honors, No. 6 of the DVR and No. 5 of the camera brand ranking.
